Perfect place for a weekend getaway from the noise of the city. The Rafts are not at their best condition, the river view standard rooms are OK.

The stay at Banana resort was really good! It was very tranquil and quiet for most of the part, great mountain scenic views, staff very friendly and helpful. All the meals prepared by the staff was really good and catered to a big cooperate group’s needs. Had a variety of food options and they were all very good. There was nothing that I had any complains about. The staff are superb! They really check on the timing on when our meals should be prepared and ready by and the effort they put in to communicate with us despite not knowing much English. They have the can do attitude and will get it done upon request. Nice little open area(grass)that was great for activities and team building. Could do with a basketball court or a badminton court for recreational games or sport. The functions rooms were great for meetings and the air-conditioning was a life saver! The swings overlooking the river is such a nice hang out spot, probably my favourite. Had a great stay in the room facing the river, a great place for a getaway and enjoying the peaceful surroundings! Highly recommend staying at this resort. Would have been good if the resort rented out scooters for customers.

Banana resort sounds like a funny name for a resort, but it is surprisingly nice. Don't expect anything grand here. It's a family run resort. Friendly staff. During the rainy season, the river water is not clear. Very murky. It's actually top soil washed down from up river. This picture it's taken during the month of September. Will try to come back in December and see how the water is.
